Step into the elegance of tradition with a kimono stroll through Nagoya’s historic heart. Your journey begins at Nagonoya Café, where you will be dressed in a kimono (or yukata* in summer) by a professional dresser, complete with traditional footwear. Before your visit, you can select your preferred kimono pattern, ensuring a personalized experience.
*Yukata: In summer, a lighter cotton garment called a yukata is worn instead of a kimono.

Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll wander through Shikemichi, a preservation district that emerged over 300 years ago after a great fire widened its streets to four ken (about 7 meters). Here, rows of earthen-walled storehouses, traditional townhouses, and even houses that enshrine the “roof deity” reflect Nagoya’s enduring heritage.

From there, continue into Endoji Shopping Street, Nagoya’s oldest shopping arcade. Still lively today, it blends century-old shops and family-run businesses with stylish new cafés and restaurants, making it a perfect place to experience both old and new Nagoya. Along the way, your guide will share stories of the neighborhood and introduce you to spots where history and daily life intertwine.

This tour offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in Japanese tradition, capture memorable photos, and connect with the charm of a district where the past and present coexist.
