Itinerary

8:50 AM – Meet at Nagoya Station

Start your journey at the Nagoya Station Tourist Information Center, where your guide will greet you and introduce the day’s adventure.

9:00 AM – Travel to Nagoya Castle

Take the subway to Nagoya Castle, the city’s most iconic landmark and a symbol of its rich samurai heritage.

9:45 AM – Discover the Majesty of Nagoya Castle

Step into the world of samurai and shoguns at Nagoya Castle, a masterpiece of feudal-era architecture. Built in 1612 by Tokugawa Ieyasu, the castle was strategically placed to strengthen the Tokugawa shogunate’s control over central Japan.

Marvel at its golden shachihoko (roof ornaments), explore the spacious castle grounds, and admire the beautifully restored Honmaru Palace, featuring exquisite scroll paintings.

11:00 AM – Experience Modern Nagoya in Sakae

Head to Sakae, Nagoya’s bustling downtown district. Visit the futuristic Oasis 21, a striking glass-and-steel structure known as the “Spaceship Aqua”, offering fantastic city views.

For lunch, your guide will recommend a restaurant based on your preferences, whether you’d like to try Nagoya’s signature dishes such as miso katsu or hitsumabushi, or explore other Japanese or international options.

Before leaving, take a moment to see the Nagoya TV Tower, the city’s oldest and most iconic skyscraper.

1:00 PM – Explore the Vibrant Osu Shopping District

Dive into Osu, Nagoya’s cultural melting pot where tradition meets pop culture. Walk through a lively arcade packed with vintage kimono shops, a Japanese tea shop, and stores selling katsuobushi (dried bonito) and kombu (kelp), essential ingredients for traditional dashi broth. Alongside these, you’ll find pachinko parlors, maid cafés, and anime collectibles.

Your guide will help tailor the stops based on your interests, ensuring a personalized experience. This unique blend of old and new makes Osu one of Nagoya’s most exciting districts.

At the end of the street, visit the Osu Kannon Temple, a beloved Buddhist temple where locals come to pray for good fortune.

3:30 PM – Tour Ends at Osu Kannon Station

Say farewell to your guide at Osu Kannon Station. Before parting ways, your guide will provide directions on how to return to your hotel or reach your next destination.
