Meet your professional English-speaking guide at Muramatsu Shoten, a long-established family-run tea farm in Hamamatsu, approximately 20 minutes by car from JR Hamamatsu Station. Meet the tea producer and receive an introduction to the day’s experience.
Walk through the tea fields with the farmer and visit the tea processing factory. Learn how tea leaves are cultivated, harvested, steamed, rolled, dried, and carefully prepared, while discovering the history and traditions of tea production in the region.

Be prepared for a fair amount of walking – While the tour covers a significant walking distance, most of the route is flat. Where there are inclines or stairs, elevators and escalators are available in many areas. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
