Discover the people, places, and passion behind one of Japan’s most remarkable culinary regions on this exclusive farm-to-table experience in the Chita Peninsula.

Accompanied by Chef Watanabe, owner-chef of Le Coeuryuzu and a recipient of Japan’s prestigious Ryori Masters award, one of Japan’s highest honors for professional chefs, you’ll journey beyond the dining table to meet the producers who inspire his cuisine. His restaurant has also been recognized by the internationally acclaimed Gault & Millau guide for its outstanding seasonal French cuisine.

Visit two carefully selected producers—such as farms, vegetable growers, or local markets—chosen according to the season. Hear directly from the producers about their cultivation methods, environmental philosophy, and the traditions that have shaped Chita’s rich food culture. Along the way, gain rare insight into how Chef Watanabe selects ingredients and builds long-standing relationships with the people who grow and produce them.

The Chita Peninsula is blessed with fertile soil, a mild climate, and abundant seafood from both Ise Bay and Mikawa Bay, making it one of Japan’s richest culinary destinations. The region is also famous for premium local products including Chita Beef, Chita Pork, free-range eggs, fresh vegetables, fruit, and centuries-old brewing traditions.

Your journey concludes back at Le Coeuryuzu, where the ingredients you’ve encountered throughout the day are transformed into an elegant seasonal French tasting course. Seated at the chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen, you’ll enjoy conversation with Chef Watanabe while savoring each beautifully crafted dish, perfectly complemented by a pairing featuring local sake.
